A graduate of Bethany College in 1971, I began my teaching career in East Rutherford, NJ that same year.  I was a self-contained 6th Grade Teacher, 7th and 8th Grade Social Studies Teacher, Technology Instructor, Head Basketball Coach and Interim Principal during my 34 years with the East Rutherford District.  I also served as Head Softball Coach and Varsity Girls' Basketball Coach at Becton Regional High School and as Varsity Volleyball and Softball coach at Immaculate Conception High School, all in NJ.  During that time I received my Master's Degree in Elementary Education from William Paterson University in Wayne, NJ in 1976.
I am married for over 42 years and my wife, Anne, is the owner and operator of Lazy D Kennel in Lindsborg, where we reside.  We have four children and two grandchildren spread out from NJ to California.  I am in my 11th year as Technology Coordinator for the Salina Catholic Schools.
